I apologize at the beginning if I offend anyone. That is never my intention. However, I have some strong feelings today, and I will voice them. Everyone (of course) is entitled to their own opinions, so you may find yourself disagreeing with what I will be saying. That’s fine. But if you’re willing, please let my words sink in and see if you can’t find some truth somewhere for you.
We’re all intuitive and Connected and enlightened, that I know for sure. We’re all just in various stages of remembering all of that. When we first start to wake up, it’s so exciting! We finally get a glimpse of our power, or our potential, of all the possibilities. We’re there! So we may begin teaching right away, or doing readings, or giving workshops or talks. We may book ourselves as psychics, or channelers, or mediums, or healers. And we ARE, that’s not the point. The point, though, is to ask yourself at this point: do I REALLY know what I’m doing, here on the physical plane? Do I have enough experience to be able to use the necessary language to help someone through a block? Should I just TELL someone their business won’t succeed? Should I just TELL someone they’re going to die from the cancer? Should I just TELL someone their husband is having an affair? These are all real questions that have come up in my work throughout the years. They are not easy questions to answer, and there’s no book to give you any guidance, because that understanding has to come from within you. It comes from years of working with your own life and experiences, of walking your talk, of immersing yourself in the business of learning and growing. It doesn’t come from attending a weekend workshop or watching a movie or reading a book. It doesn’t even come from someone telling you that you’re a natural psychic. Those all may be helpful, yes, but I implore you, unless you’ve done 1000 readings for people, or worked steadily for at least 5 years, to STEP BACK from doing your Work out in the world.
These are intense times; many people are needing some heavy duty help. Some heard that call 20 years ago and started working toward their mastery. Others heard the call 10 years ago and started working toward their mastery. Still others started 5 years ago. Still others started 2 years ago. Still others started a year ago. Many are just starting now. Where do you fall in the previous timelines? Take a deep breath. I understand your excitement - I truly do. It’s amazing stuff. It’s magic! But it can also be very detrimental when used in the hands of someone not ready to handle it. You’re like a child trying to drive a car. Yes, you’ve GOT the car, but you have to grow into it, don’t you? Nobody would let a 5 year behind the wheel. It’s almost the same on the spiritual plane. That 5 year old may have the best driving potential ever seen, but you still don’t let her drive the car until she’s older.
But you’re excited to start your Work. I ask you: how’s your OWN life doing right now? Are you tending to it? I can’t TELL you how many ‘working’ psychics are actively offering their services, while calling me for help and advice in their own lives. They’re a mess. Yes, we all need help from time to time, but I’m talking major life messes that aren’t being dealt with. Am I being harsh? I’m not meaning to - again, I apologize if I’m hurting anyone’s feelings. But if you find your feelings being hurt, maybe I’m talking to YOU. Maybe I’ve hit a chord somewhere inside of you. Maybe I’m talking to a part of you that you had hoped to keep private and away from the public eye. Maybe.
If you feel the need to do public work, but don’t have the ‘hours under the saddle,’ STOP. Back up, take a breather. Work on your own life. Are you gentle with your family, are you peaceful, is your life crafted to bring you joy, are you doing things you want to be doing? Life will never be ‘perfect,’ but it certainly should feel like you’re riding on a stable ship and not ready to capsize every minute or two. How can you help others when you’re worried your OWN ship may be ready to sink? TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN SHIP. There are many of us who’ve been working for years and years and years who can keep helping others until you’re ready. But please, PLEASE, don’t take on the sacred work of helping others until you’ve done your own Work.
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen that have been harmed by your ‘work’ that has been destructive and hurtful. I know you didn’t mean to, you didn’t know any better. Just as the 5 year old didn’t mean to smash the car into the tree. She didn’t know any better - it was too powerful a machine for her to be operating at such a young age. But she’ll grow into it, just as you’ll grow into your Power and Knowing. Don’t be ashamed or afraid to just be a spiritual kid for a while. There’s plenty of time for the grownup stuff - trust me on that. You’re doing beautifully, by the way. Just beautifully. Some day you’ll be a very powerful Lightworker out in the world. But for now? Just live your life, grow, learn, and put those hours in. Nobody can do it overnight - not even you.
